Short Story: Dot's Donut Shop

Despite its location, Dot’s Donut Shop was about to get famous. Little to very few people know of Hughesville, Nebraska or let alone heard of Dot’s Donut Shop. The little town of 879 people in central Nebraska was soon to be a town known worldwide but not necessarily for a good reason.
It was the first day of Tom Johnson’s senior year. He hated being stuck in a small town with nothing but a gas station, and a rundown donut shop so as you imagine he was ready to get out of here and go to college. One thing that really interested Tom were aliens. Even though no one else in his class thought he was crazy and did not believe in aliens that did not stop Tom.

There was this bright green human-like figure standing in front of the shop. “Who dare passes?” The screechy voice startled Tom. “I uh I.” Tom stammered. He saw another figure run out of the door, but this was no alien. “Help me! Help! Please!” No way Tom thought. It was Katrina. “Katrina are you okay!” Tom yelled. The alien at the door way grabbed Katrina and took her back inside. Tom did not know what to do so he called the police.
After five long minutes the police showed up, but it was too late. Katrina and the U.F.O were gone. Tom stated to the police there was a kidnapping but the police could not believe a word he said so the police took him home. Tom was enraged, he had to get Katrina back and make the police believe his story.
The next day Katrina’s parents and everyone at school worried where she was, everyone except Tom. Tom still tried pleading his case on what happened to Katrina but everyone thought he was crazy. After trying and getting no one on his side he gave
