Short Story: Band Of Storm Spirits

Jason wakes up on a school bus full of kids with no memory of how he got there or anything else about him, but his name, and he's sitting with a girl who claims to be his girlfriend, her name is Piper McLean. On top of that a boy named Leo Valdez says he is his best friend. They're all on a field trip As members of a school for troubled kids. As we arrived at the Grand Canyon they are attacked by a band of storm spirits. Their counselor, Gleeson Hedge reveals himself as a satyr (which is a half man, half goat) who battles to protect the troubled kids. Much to Jason's surprise, he finds a golden coin that turns into a sword and he helped Gleeson hedge fight the storm spirits. The storm Spirit Retreat and they take Gleeson hedge with them. …show more content…
Piper can charmspeak, Leo can Control fire, And Jason has the ability to control weather and he has an immunity to electricity. But they were not happy with their abilities. Leo is afraid to use his special ability because he thinks they are a result of his mother's death. Piper's having nightmares about her dad being captured by an evil Giant named Enceladus.
