Ally's POV: A Fictional Narrative

Ally's POV

I probably should go to sleep, I mean it's 5 a.m. and I have school tomorrow. Ahh high school; a place filled with love birds, drugs, drama and of course Nesa. I know she's straight; she's basically dating Alex.

I'm the rebellious type, I don't show my feelings a lot after what happened. I shut everyone out. I turned into a player, took my dad's position in being a drug lord and have almost 17 gangs in the state I'm in.

Screw it I think as I turn off my side lamp and go to sleep.

*BEEP* *BEEP* Ugh the fuck? I turn over in anger since I just slept for 2 hours and the next thing I know it's 7:11. "FUCK," I shout as I quickly get up and put my black jeans on and a leather jacket that smells of smoke and is covered in dust.

I scramble through my drawer to find a cigarette packet but non is in sight. I'm gonna be late again if I don't get my shit together and stop staying up all night!

NO SHIT MOM! My moms an understanding parent even after what happened in the past so yeah, we are close.

I get down as fast as I can holding books in my hand while my bag is left hanging open on my back. I quickly put all my books in my bag then turn to find my mom in the kitchen making toast.

I take a bread piece and hold it in between my teeth shouting out "eyyee lokgve yeww bkyee mom!" (Translation: I love you, bye mom). She shouts "I love you too" and blows a kiss at me.

Thing is, I may be all of that but there is a special place in my heart for my mom. Most people are surprised that I am this kind and loving towards my mom. But what can I say? I'm 19 going to 20 in a year, she's all the love I can ever get aside from Kat.

As I run out and head towards my car, I realize that I forgot to put air in one of my tires yesterday.

Stay cool Ally, sta-FUCK SAKE! I call my personal driver and ask for a ride which he, of course, says yes to.

Please wait for me to think of a half-hearted excuse as to why I can't go out tonight because telling someone that I want to lay in bed and stare at the ceiling isn’t the best excuse. My mother and I did not share a typical mother/daughter relationship. There was a time when we would not even speak and years would pass before I would even see her again. However, I would always see her when I looked into the mirror, since I looked just like her. I would hear her laugh because our laughs were identical, and small details we shared would remind me of the relationship I was missing, the relationship I felt everyone took advantage of. During my senior year all hope of a possible reconciliation would be lost.…
