or the last thirty minutes, I’ve been invariably groaning and rubbing my temples being continually urged to “chill” by the boy next to me. I wasn’t sure if he was serious or not. Although, I still can’t believe that I’d be with this annoying dipshit for three more hours.
“So, was that a yes or a no? Seriously, I don’t understand you,” He states for the thirteenth time just as he scans my face for an answer. However, I stay silent for an instant. “Alright! I’ll take that as a yes.”
“Dude. You seriously need to chill,” I disclose coolly.
“First of all, the name’s Mason. And second, Yes. I need to chill. And by ‘chill’ I mean Netflix and Chill,” He convulses.
“Wow, you are such a man whore. Why are you so desperate anyways?” “Oh come on, how

I’m listening,” He insists determinedly. I clear my throat and start stating facts about me. It was extremely awkward at first because I’m telling random & personal things about myself to this boy who I spilled my tea earlier I barely know, but then he made it less unwieldy. I slowly opened up to him bit by bit – His voice and accent was just so comforting & shockingly amusing at the same time. Plus, he was so into my story about the most embarrassing moment at my high school in Grand Rapids.
So this is basically what happened: Last year, during my sophomore days (also known as my worst year ever), I was walking down the stairs as I was heading to my Chemistry class. I noticed there were a bunch of seniors walking together behind me. I tried to go down the stairwell faster because I know how those people treat underclassmen. Of course, Thanks a lot to my very good balancing, I slipped on one stair and the diet coke I was holding fell on the steps in front of me. I started to slip on the coke and I fell really hard on my ass. I started falling down the stairs, one at a time… still on my butt. The back of my pants was soaked in pop and the seniors behind me were basically in shock and started laughing at how awkward the fall

Walking in the hallways/ stairs Walking in a school hallway during passing time can always be a hassle. People like to stop and talk with their friends, play around, and walk very slow. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people stop while there is a group of other people behind them trying to get by. Also I don’t like when people walk side by side and take up half of the whole hallway space.…

The sound of metal clicking into place and the black straps of the harness tightening around me immediately makes my stomach tighten with anxiety. I frantically look over my shoulder to see my uncle and Heather, holding video cameras and smiling wide with anticipation. He says something I don’t quite catch through the sound of heavy rain; people chattering amongst each other; and of course my own nervous thoughts. I can't help but focus on how the equipment digs into me and how sweaty my hands feel in the too big adult sized gloves I could likely fit my head into. “You ready?”…

This isn’t what I planed when I started the ninth grade but you know what they say “plans change” so before I get ahead of my shelf let me give you some back ground information, like my name its Rider, Rider Smith I’m the average Quit stoner that didn’t take intimidation nor an offer of a fight lightly, I guess you could say I’m head strong. My first year at G.H.D High I skipped constantly, I already knew all the skippers back from T.H.C middle so that’s what I did for most of the year but this one day in lunch would change that, this big twelfth grader was going to beat the crap out this scrawny little kid so said “just don’t do it bra”. Well I guess he thought I meant or Ill fight you or something so he ended up caching an attitude for me but at that time I was around a bunch of my friends who didn’t want me to give him the time of the day so I just blew him off and gave him no attention that he so desperately wanted so bad.…

The lowest point of my high school career was the winter of my freshman year. I was the only underclassman that had made the varsity cheerleading squad and that automatically made me an outsider and the upperclassmen made sure I knew that. I was constantly the target of their aggression, even though I never did anything to deserve it. Being powerless in this cheer tyranny, I was forced to silently suffer until I could no longer handle it. One day at practice, I exploded; my mouth was the volcano and my rage was the lava.…

Vince Lombardi once said, "It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up." This quote is explaining that if you try something and fail, don't just give up right away, try it again until you get it right. I feel that this quote relates to my life in many different ways because of the different life experiences I have had, and over time all of these experiences made me a better person in the end. When I was eight years old, I was in the pool with my friends at summer camp.…
