Hence, it is important to find out the reasons to study this change of surge in the rate of female participation in the criminal activities. In view of the rate of female participation in the wrongdoings, it has been shown that female’s responsibilities are increased because of the more liberated atmosphere of the equality after 1960. This leads them to fulfill all the domestic and professional commitments, which in turn, makes them burglars or thieves (white collar crimes). In this manner, inequality, gender based discrimination, frequent woman abuse in the patriarchal society, economic independence, narrow employment scope for ladies and so on factors give rise to the female sharing’s amplification in the criminal space.
