Water, scientifically known as H2O is defined by online website as a transparent, odorless, tasteless liquid, a compound of hydrogen and oxygen, freezing at 32°F or 0°C and boiling at 212°F or 100°C. The earth is covered by approximately seventy-one percent (71%) of water and out of that percentage ninety-seven percent (97%) of it is saltwater and three (3%) percent of it is fresh water. Lakes, rivers, and swamps accounts for all surface freshwater supply and out of all the water on earth, only 0.3 percent of it is usable by humans. As humans we have created ways to make unusable water useable through many processes. Continuous research and developments of systems to produce usable water is allowing countries that are not as fortunate to have clean water to now have fresh, disease-free water. It is impossible for us as humans to live our daily lives without water.

If we were to lose water from our bodies and not able to replace it, we would become dehydrated; this would usually result in death. Therefore, we need water to keep our body in its normal functionality. In relation to our body need for water, we can relate this to our daily lives of going to and from work, school etc. Whether you are walking to a destination, taking public transportation, or driving your own car you need water to get there. Any system that generates heat is required to have water as a means of cooling. Without it, the system would seize and now your entire day is jeopardized. If you look at the food we eat, you can see the necessity of water in its production. Animal agriculture uses about fifty percent (50%) of all water on earth.
