A soldier knows how to strip down and reassemble his weapon blindfolded and in the dark. We too must study to rightfully divide the word of truth. (2nd. Timothy 2:15)
In any form of combat, there are a thousand distractions to avert our attention. We must stay focused. All around us in our churches, people are becoming distracted from our mission. Evangelism in many places has become a spectator sport. Only a few are out in our Father’s harvest field while many as spectators sit in the church watching. They have become distracted by good intentions. Let me share a story with you that I once heard a Chaplain relate to a few soldiers.”

How many will end up in a Christ-less eternity? How many will never know the joys and beauty of heaven because we gave up on our mission?
Even when we meet, a situation that seems hopeless. When we have come to an end of ourselves, heaven will always come through for us.
One day we were battling on a hill. Enemy forces were closing in all around me. I opened up with my M249. Next, I saw a tremendous blinding light. I could no longer see the advancing insurgents. My buddies thought I was KIA, as the enemy lit me up.
All I knew and this is still hard for me to figure out. Somehow I was engaging an unseen enemy. I was firing at nothing. There was no one in front of me, and I was firing a burst. When my head cleared, I found myself sitting on the hill opposite. I was watching the battle from over there.
At first, I was totally disoriented. All I could figure was my mother was praying for me, she always did. The Lord lifted me up in that light and set me down on the other hill. I’ve been trying to figure it out ever since.
When there was nothing I could do and the enemy still advanced, God just took me out. His glorious light engulfed me and I was safely moved to the mountain of the …show more content…
They called in Medevac, who took me back to the base. When the others in my unit saw me, they had a hard time believing it.
Still, I’m alive and they found me on a hill over a kilometer away. So today, you too must decide what you are going to do with the rest of your life. Fight on in the battle all alone against overwhelming odds or surrender to the Master.
The book of Ezekiel makes some truth clearer than I ever could.”
“When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine
