Jacqueline Bouvier was born in South Hampton New York July 28, 1929. Her parents divorce at the age of 10. Early age Jacqueline Kennedy wrote pomes and essays, which were sometimes published in her school newspaper. Jacqueline said "I want to be there when he dies" fusing to take a sedative by the president's doctor. After the president's death she refused to remove her blood stained clothing and regretted having wash the blood off her face and hands. She told Lady Bird Johnson "I want them to see what they have done to Jack." The day of the assassination she was wearing a Chanel pink suit and pillbox hat, which was covered in John's blood. She stood next to Johnson when he took the oath of office as president. She planned the president's State funeral, which was watched by millions around the world who shared her grief and admired her courage and dignity.
