Henry Hudson: A Great English Explorer

Henry Hudson was a great English explorer, he was born in 1570 and died in 1611.
We do not know much about his early life.
From his first voyage as captain of a ship in 1607, we began to know Henry Hudson.
Given his talent for navigation, it is assumed that he probably worked on other ships before being appointed commander of a single ship.
We also know he was married to a woman named Katherine and he had three sons with her called Richard, Olivier and John. His character remains elusive but many places bear his name. He gave his name to the Hudson River in New York, the Hudson Strait and Hudson Bay in Canada.

They founded their colony in the New World. Hudson's third trip was the first to record the European discovery of the New York State today.
On his return in England in November, Henry Hudson is arrested in Dartmouth to have sailed to another nation. Before, it was treason so he had to stay in England with his crew but the Dutch sailors could return and take the Hudson’s record of the voyage.
Some people suggested that Hudson was a spy for England. He used his contract with the Dutch to get their maps. We believe that’s the reason why Hudson broke his contract. He turned away to sail across the ocean. Then he explored the coast of the New World. On his way home, he sailed into England and not into the Netherlands .Hudson is liberated from his arrest so he can start his fourth voyage.
Or maybe Hudson was on a mission from the English trading companies. He had to ruin the Dutch efforts to find a shorter passage to the Spice Islands. There was a big rivalry between the two nations. Hudson did not improve the situation.
