Beyonce Knowles-Carter was born on September 4th, 1981. She has sold over 118 million records, and has won 17 Grammy Awards both as a solo singer, and as part of a previous group of which she was the lead singer in, Destiny's Child.

Beyonce first sang for an audience when she was 7 years old at a talent show. taking out first place and ,beating people aged 15 and sixteen. She attended school at St Mary elementary school, where she enrolled in dance classes. Her talent for singing was discovered when her dance teacher was humming a song and Beyonce finished it off, hitting all the high notes with perfect pitch.
