Nicotine is a very addictive drug, as it enters your bloodstream yo your brain, it causes the adrenal gland to secrete a hormone called epinephrine, and this increases heart rate, along with blood pressure. Nicotine impacts the human health negatively, some of the short term effects include abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, headaches as well as hearing and visual troubles. Also, trembling, faintness, shortness of breath and irregular heartbeats. Although, some of the long term effects may include premature hair loss, hearing loss, delay in healing process, osteoporosis and increased wrinkles and crow’s feet’s. Besides, there is an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer, specifically of the lungs.
