The first couple of symptoms are dry mouth, warm skin, heaviness of extremities. Later there is a period of being really awake then drowsy on and off which is known as the nod. The user eventually falls asleep and then wake up later craving another dose of heroin.

As stated before the morphine binds to the opioid receptors which are attached to your brain stems which controls important automatic processes like blood pressure and respiration. Regular users began to can experience kidney or liver disease, pulmonary problems, constipation, collapsed veins and infection of your heart. All these symptoms are hard to cure. The worst part is that you can’t just stop using heroin. An immediate withdrawal will make you seriously ill. Heroin is one of the most addicting drugs out there and getting off of it is nearly impossible. That is why it's better not to start at all.
