Shopping for makeup is a very stressful event. Most shoppers don 't know what products to get when looking at the massive selections at Ulta, Sephora, or drugstores. From Maybelline to Nars, the choices are endless, causing a struggle to make the right decision. Makeup is personal too. Everyone has different features and skin types, which can cause people to be unsure of what makeup to select. There are high-end brands like Benefit or Too Faced, and these products range in price from $20 to $60. Is drugstore makeup a better alternative because it’s lower in price? What about online makeup? How do I know if this is good quality? All these questions are important to think about before purchasing makeup. Personally, I believe that people can find better alternatives to high-end makeup on specialty websites or drugstores, like Colourpop Cosmetics, Wet and Wild, and Morphe, due to their value pricing and great quality.
Before freshman year, I had no idea what to do when it came to makeup. Later on, I discovered YouTube makeup videos, which led me to Colourpop Cosmetics.
