Show Choir will be auditioning for next seasons line up in the choir room on May 8th. Sophomore Asia Brewer is one of the people that plan on auditioning for Show Choir next year. Brewer was in show choir last year. She really enjoyed it that is why she trying again this year.
“The auditions are not hard because you are doing what you know,” said Brewer.
They usually take up 60 people after audition, but a lot will people quit. After someone quits they get replaced by the next person in line. For audition, people do a vocal or singing audition then a dance audition. The people for watch them audition are the choir teachers, Jamie Logan and Ella Ward, and the choreographer for that year. There is one thing the people have to do before auditioning, they have to warm up their voices by themselves.

Both coaches just want good people on their team that will do good all together. “Mrs.Ward is the nicest person ever and sometimes she yells at me but she wants us to do good,” said Brewer. A lot of people who audition do not get in but people get in go though a lot emotions.
“I felt really confused like how did I get in and then really happy then confused again,” said Brewer after she saw she got in.
For people who like singing and dancing Show Choir would be the right club for them. Even if they hate auditioning and feel like running away there is still a huge chance to get in if they just audition.
Throughout the years of Show Choir, they have won tons of awards from competitions.
