Shiloh Museum History

Small Museum, but a bigger history. Shiloh Museum origin came to be because of a young boy passion which would last a life time. The Shiloh Museum tell the story of its surroundings since its begging in its new location. The history inside of the Shiloh museum does not only tell the origin of a city which we know to today as Springdale; the Museum also tells the history of the Ozarks. From the first Native Americans in the land to current exhibits from all over the world which some of the exhibits showed the way of life to the poultry business that originated in the area. When one enters the room on the left side there is a display which has everything that one would find in a home in that era everything was is inside a glass display. On the right side side when you enter the room their is another display which shows the tools which they use to farm with. Next to on the left side of the display which contain the farming tools there was another display that contain the tools the settlers used to hunt with. The display contain a rifle , gun powder, a bear skin, bullet mold, and bullets. Third, there was an exhibit which show the poultry industry which was very important to the area. The amount of jobs it brought help the city grow not only economically in but also population. The Display demonstrated what it looked like in side a chicken house. The display also showed what a female worker would wear inside. Next to the female uniform in the display it showed some the tools they use for there job. The poultry industry that originated in the area was the most In conclusion the Shiloh Museum not only shows the origins of the city of Springdale or the Ozarks, but the influence that were shown in the displays inside the museum. The displays demonstrated the influence of what make the city of Springdale and the Ozarks so great.
