Twelfth Night, a story written in the early 16th hundreds about a crazy unbelievable story with lots of hidden identities and love craziness. In 2006 a modern adaptation called She’s The Man was created with a bit of a different plot with the same basic idea. This has a lot of similarities to the original, these are some. A very big similarity is Viola dressing up as a boy in order to accomplish something. In Twelfth Night Viola dresses up as a boy in order to sneak into Duke Orsino’s home and work for him. In She’s The Man she dresses up as a boy in order to get into the boy’s soccer team.

In the story Twelfth Night, there are a lot of strange characters. Some of them are small others are big. They have personalities ranging from a love crazed rich girl too a girl dressing up as a man. Out of all of these crazy characters, Feste has to be my favorite. He has many great and funny lines in the text. One of them includes Well, God give them wisdom that have it; and those that are fools, let them use their talents.” This shows that he is happy to be a fool and he is very good at his job of being a fool. I think fools are cool. Another amazing line he says is “Marry, sir, they praise me and make an ass of me; now my foes tell me plainly I am an ass.” This is a good line because it gives the audience a good laugh. Everybody loves some good comedy. This is why Feste is my favorite character. He is funny and he is a fool who is proud of what he does. He is smart even though he makes a fool of himself and is a chill guy in
