Sheryl Sandberg revolutionized the word when she defined leadership as: “making others better as result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence.” Many factors and elements have shaped my personal growth, including church, family, and school, but what all of those elements have in common is that they exhibited one of the pillars that I should strive to model: Leadership, Character, Service, and Scholarship. All of these pillars were demonstrated by priceless role models in my life; without them I would not be the person I am today.
