Sheryl Sandberg Analysis

It's not often that one finds true inspiration, hope and humility vested in one person. Well I'm sure each and everyone of you said to yourself (some name, a family member perhaps). No, what I mean is a public figure, a leader in the global sense. Someone who bridges the gap of nations, cultures though leadership and example. Not just a role model for America, but for the ever new and changing world.

Who could this person be? I'm certain, when you have taken a moment, with careful thought – a name will come to mind. When it does, take stock in the fact that there are still shining examples of greatness and hope in the advancement of humanity at all levels.

Now, I am not going to give a run down on my choice, this is not a history lesson. Only a little bit on why I have chosen said person, and what I think they have contributed to the world.

Sheryl Sandberg is the person I have chosen. For anyone who knows me even a little this wouldn't come to any surprise. I have always been fascinated with people from the creative-business part of the world. Growing up most of my friends looked up to either

Thought, spending almost the last decade of my professional life in a leadership role some way or another it seems much more relevant. The point of this declaration is not to express a desire to “have” what Sheryl Sandberg has. Of course, who wouldn't want an opportunity to change the world, with a role like Chief Operating Office of Facebook. A product which is arguably the most important brand and creation in the last few centuries. (A blog on Facebook's impact will follow shortly). It should also be noted that I am not giving Sheryl Sandberg credit for the creation of Facebook. That belongs to Mark Zuckerberg. Still I have a strong feeling that both would site each other and the tremendous partnership they share – for the creation of such a powerful and world changing

I Support John Adams because I believe more in what Adams has to say then Jackson. John Adams was a nice, respectful, and trustworthy man. Adams was a smart thinker and also wanted to make peace as much as he can. Personally, as a black female I agree more with Adams views and beliefs. Jackson was a ruthless man who didn't care about anyone outside of the U.S.…

Growing up I was always told that in life you have the choice between making the change happen or just watch the change happen around you. I am one of those people who like to make the change happen. Stokely Carmicheal is also one of those people who wanted to make changes happen so we share a common ground of leadership with each other. Carmicheal is commonly known for his famous acts within the civil rights movement and his involvement with the Black Panthers. With that being said, if I could have the just one hour of conversation with any historical figure it would have to be, Stokely Carmicheal.…

The person that I chose was Cyrus the Great, also known as Cyrus II. The main thing that Cyrus the Great is well known for is conquering Hellenes and becoming the founder of one of the greatest empires in the world, Persia. Most of the people of who he ruled, appreciated him highly, as did he respect the people. One of the tasks that Cyrus is most famous for is actually freeing the Jewish people. John F. Kennedy stated three specific pressures that discourage acts of political courage. The first pressure is being criticized by the public, or senators, for the lack of any sort of principles. This may cause a politician to lose focus and forget about what truly matters, the American people and their well-being. while the public may view something they do as wrong, the senator may know more information the public doesn’t and he should do what he thinks is right, no matter the cost (possibly his job).…

People of Value Many people are responsible for providing Americans with the freedoms we have today like Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton. These people would make great world leaders today for their contributions to society, government, and public relations. In general, these men have contributed to our country in many ways; for example, they drafted the United States Constitution. Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay would publish the Federalist Papers.…

In “Lean in: What Would You Do If You Weren’t Afraid?” by Sheryl Sandberg the main topic is feminism based upon her point of view and research. Throughout her work she states the general struggles that come from being a woman in the world. In her work she does not seem very one sided on how to change what women are going through now but instead just saying what women do now that doesn’t work now a day. Before this Sandberg wrote “lean in” there had never been a feminist work on the New York Times Best Sellers list which was a big movement in feminist teaching, but was it good publicity for long time feminist?…

A normal person might strive to be average, to be the okay for the moment and never truly use their full potential. For a normal person, being in a leadership position can sometimes be too hard, complicated, and stressful if they are not dedicated or prepared. Each of these factors can discourage many people, people who have the potential but not the training or motivation to hold a position of leadership. I, however, believe that I have the potential, the training, and the motivation to do something amazing as the VP of District Four. As I stated, every person has the potential to be a leader, though some stand out more than others.…

During his sophomore year he decided to drop out of college so that he can solely focus on his project of launching which is now known as the social networking site called Facebook (Wikipedia.com, May 14, 2016).…
