Sherman's Narrative

This story is about the time I got my best bud Sherman. One afternoon I was on the way to my dad’s house. When I heard my dad in the backyard, so I went through the gate to the backyard. There was a little dog that looked right at me and his whole body shook and instantly I took an oath to protect and love him. Wherever I went he followed, When I ate he ate, When I drank he drank. Soon, we decided to name him Sherman, so we went to petsmart to get him a new collar and name tag. He loves to cuddle, sometimes I make him dance and I set up a little stage and give him his little sweater and cape and I call him “ The Great Sherminy”. His backstory is he lived with another family but one day he came into our yard so my grandpa took him to his …show more content…
The one mager fight they had was when Sherman jumped on Max’s back and bit his neck,tail, and legs. Max couldn’t bite at Sherman so instead he just took and shook Sherman off. After that before Max could get Sherman, I ran over and smashed my foot into the dirt and swooped Sherman up and Max went to bite him. Before he could even get his teeth near Sherman I threw Sherman inside and slammed the door shut and at that moment I realized Max’s teeth were still flying at me and before I could even move Max’s teeth sank into my arm. As I screamed in pain I realized Max was bleeding,so I went inside covered my arm in Hydrogen peroxide as the bubbles stung my arm. I used my one good arm to clean off Sherman. After my arm was fully cleaned I washed Max. As he whimpered in pain my arm started to sting again, so after I cleaned off Max i put neosporin on my arm and wrapped it. After that I put Sherman in his kennel and he started to whipper as I walked down stairs to watch TV. When my grandparents got home they noticed my arm and they asked what happened, so I told them and they just shook their heads in disappointment. Once Sherman was out of his kennel I threw him in the bathtub and turned on the water to wash the dirt off of him.
