In The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, To Kill a Mockingbird, Defiance, Schindler’s List, Everything is Illuminated, and The Merchant of Venice’, hatred caused every problem. In the movie Defiance and Schindler’s List hatred was shown towards the Bielski brothers, Schindler, and all of the Jews. The Nazi party, led by Hitler, hated the Jewish people. The Jews were targeted and killed because of hatred. The Bielski brothers formed the Bielski Otriad because of their hatred towards the Germans. They attacked German convoys because the Bielskis hated the Germans and the Germans hated the Jews. It was because of hatred that Asael died fight the Germans. Oskar Schindler hated the Nazi party, he saved about 1,2oo Jewish people from the Nazis. He hated the Nazi party because they targeted the Jews, he sabotaged German weapons because he hated the Nazis. Oskar hated the Nazis because they hated and killed the Jews. In the book Everything is Illuminated hatred is shown towards Jonathan because he is an American Jew. He has to go on his quest because the Nazis hated the Jews and destroyed a shtetl that Jonathan is looking for. Hatred is what caused Augustine to save his grandfather, hatred is what caused him to look for
