eath of Sherlene the Angel Eleven months ago I entered a beautiful home,and what many would consider , the home to be dark, dreary and creepy, this home was the total opposite and their in the home three hospice clients occupied the home. Also as of now you might have figured out that I'm talking about a hospice house and perhaps I am the hospice tech telling you about a true life event and you are exactly right. However: even though it was a hospice home it was different from most,the sun in this house ruled over darkness at all times and the smell of the house was that of fresh flowers in a garden. Also the house would sometimes smell of cinnamon and apples , in which the aroma was so aggressive , one would began to taste the apples and …show more content…
Sherlene was a 73 year old woman diagnosed with cancer four years ago and it was so bad , the doctors only gave her six months to live but in spite of her illness she never let it get her down and if you knew her you probably wouldn't believe she was sick but unfortunately she was. Sherlene was considered an angel because as soon as you walked thru the door she would give you this huge smile and a wet kiss on the forehead , her kisses were so wet you would literally have to get a paper towel and wipe your forehead off, but I did not mind due to having such a passion for my job that I would have dedicated so much time to my angel , to were my eyes would be sunken in and the tiredness would take over. Meanwhile ; I often felt as if I was taking care of an real heavenly angel because she lit the home with sunshine and there was never a day were darkness would win against her exorbitant light, at least that's what I thought. Monday Feb 29, 2016 was the day my life would have changed forever , I entered a home that I did not recognize and the darkness finally won while a small piece of light existed , it was almost as if the light was
