Shenandoah National Park is a US National Park. Shenandoah is located in Virginia. It was established as a national park on December 26, 1935. The size of Shenandoah is 199,200 in acres and 311.22 in miles. There is a skyline drive that drives and the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains that is 105 miles long. There are more than 500 miles of trail that lead to the skyline drive. These trails are from Indiana's and early settlers. Shenandoah is just about 75 miles from Washington D.C. Shenandoah began to be build in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) during the Great Depression. You can't really get bored at this place, there are many things to do.
