"No, Jack, I'm not going to sell it. I'll put it on the market for rent. I plan on returning to Shelter Island. Besides, I grew up in that house. It's one of the few things I have left of my parents."
She starts crying. Ryan out of habit started to console her, but stopped. He looked at his dad for help. Jack reached for her hand, and tried to comfort her. It broke both their hearts to see her hurting so much. They had always tried to keep her from any harm. She'd gone through too much in her young life.
