Plot Summary: The Adventures Of Shelldon Clamsworth

Shelldon Clamsworth is a coral farmer, that lives on the outskirts of the Grand Reef. Coral farmers harvest coral, a valued resource in the reef, for King Shellington. The life of a coral farmer is hard, not only harvesting coral, but fighting to survive the brutal currents on the outskirts of the reef, and the creatures that lurk there. Not a day goes by that Shelldon has to fight off some sort of crab or fish. Shelldon had the appearance that most coral farmers did, rugged, with bland colors with splotches of various browns and greys. He lives on his farm, which consisted of a house, which was could be described as a little more than a large shack, in addition to a barn which houses his supplies. The premises greatly contrasted the coral fields that Shelldon owned, full of brilliant blues and greens and oranges of the coral that grows out of every nook and cranny of the hills that make up the field. He lives on his farm with his wife, Shellma, and his daughter, Shelly. Shellma is a quiet and anxious woman, while Shelly is a wild and curious girl.
One day, while laboring away in his fields, Shelldon heard a loud scuttling. He whipped around to see a colossal lobster! He yelled for Shellma, “Go get help from Mr. Shellman and his boys next door!” …show more content…
Mrs. Shellman came running out, tears flowing down her face. “It’s gone! It’s all gone! They destroyed the farm, and then they left in the direction of the… the…” Mrs. Shellman burst into tears. However, she didn’t need to finish her sentence. Shelldon could see the heaps of debris and wreckage forming a path towards the center of the reef, where the castle is. The two families decided to camp out for the night, and then they would head towards the castle in the morning. They salvaged what they could from the splintered and battered remains of the Shellman’s farm, and made camp. When they woke, they packed what little belongings they could carry, and headed
