Shel Silverstein, “If you want to find out what a writer or a cartoonist really feels, look at his work. That's enough”. Sheldon Allan Silverstein an American poet, songwriter, and a children’s author. He grew up in a noisy environment during the great depression, which affected his living conditions. His parents would have arguments about Shel’s artist skills because they viewed them differently, but the arguing didn't stop Shel from doing what he loved so he continued to submerge himself in his drawings.
