Comparing this film Shaun of the Dead to Frankenstein, it’s not much of a comparison, except they are both horror genres. As Frankenstein was so focused on “Man Playing God”, Shaun of the Dead’s focus was on us and our daily lives. I think Shaun of the Dead’s not only poke fun of us, but it also was trying to give us the message. The message was, sometimes we really need to pay for attention to our lives and grasp the most meaningful of it all before it’s too late. Of course, doing all that in very gory, disgusting, but funny ways. An example scene is, when Shaun was losing his step dad, they finally realized that they loved each other and said their goodbye with as much love as they could. Love they never knew they felt before about each
