ABC’ “Shark Tank” came to the Bronx to invite its people to come showcase their diverse ideas, and have the opportunity to have the sharks invest in their business. Many entrepreneurs from the Bronx took advantage of this opportunity and attended the casting in the hopes of convincing the sharks to have their dreams become a million dollar reality. “Shark Tank” is a reality TV show that has strengthened entrepreneurship in America. It’s a series based on multi-millionaires and billionaires tycoons that are searching to invest in the most unique product or business that the people of America have to offer. Jerry Landi CEO of “Fiona Productions Studio” spoke about his experience after auditioning. “It was funny because I was the second to audition for the day it was weird because you have to go in and go on, they only give you a minute so I had my whole speech ready to go. I brought some visual to help me out, creatures from my movies. I’m hoping to open up a film production studio here in the Bronx, employee Bronx filmmakers, Bronx actors and actresses. Blake showed his support to the Bronx community by partnering with Values Partnership for the Shark Tank audition and explained his contribution to this event. “We are incredibly excited, our office is partnering with Values Partnership for an event with Shark Tank the hit TV show so that entrepreneurs can have the chance to pitch their ideas and hopefully be able to get support. When we continue to talk about how we are building a better Bronx it's focused on economic development and education and equality for all, that all comes together from our Bronx entrepreneurs getting those opportunities. This is getting entrepreneurs from across the borough together to get excited, to get their pitch, to say why they need access to capital and why they need capital, to say why they need access to support and when we allow them to get those chances it allows more jobs more opportunities and dreams to be realized here in the
