Shark Clan Short Story

When the Shark Clan leader was killed, all was well in the ocean. The criminal activity had stopped.
It was an early morning in September. The water was murky. The water was cold. And my home was quiet. Only the sound of the current could be heard. Through my open window, I heard screams of another fish who had fallen into the hands of the members of the Clan. A faint, devious laughter could be heard. This was the sound of another crime, and another innocent life that was lost.
Most citizens of Deepyo that had lived in a neighborhood that had been conquered by the Shark Clan stayed indoors, living in fear of being killed or hurt by the Sharks. Some believed that the local authorities were still alive. Others believed that they were dead.
My good friends, Toyotomi, Date, Takeda, and myself, had been planning to end the Shark Clan from terrorizing the citizens. Our plan was to stop a cargo shipments from arriving at their center of operations, deactivating the communication system, and to capture or kill the leader of the Shark Clan. We had several months of planning, creating, training and observing the Shark Clan.
Toyotomi had observed the shipments of cargo. He discovered a pattern between each shipment. Every other Friday, a cargo truck came into Deeptown to provide the Shark Clan with

Date already finished jamming their communications system. He grabbed two of his shurikens. FHEW! FHEW! The first shuriken hit the front left tire, and the next hit the rear left tire. The truck lost control and spun out. Takeda and Date readied their ranged weapons. Two guards stepped out of the vehicle. Takeda released his arrow. Whoosh! The arrow struck the guard in the chest. He slowly sank down into the road. Date threw two shurikens. One hit the guard in the chest, and the other hit the guard in the chest.
