It was an early morning in September. The water was murky. The water was cold. And my home was quiet. Only the sound of the current could be heard. Through my open window, I heard screams of another fish who had fallen into the hands of the members of the Clan. A faint, devious laughter could be heard. This was the sound of another crime, and another innocent life that was lost.
Most citizens of Deepyo that had lived in a neighborhood that had been conquered by the Shark Clan stayed indoors, living in fear of being killed or hurt by the Sharks. Some believed that the local authorities were still alive. Others believed that they were dead.
My good friends, Toyotomi, Date, Takeda, and myself, had been planning to end the Shark Clan from terrorizing the citizens. Our plan was to stop a cargo shipments from arriving at their center of operations, deactivating the communication system, and to capture or kill the leader of the Shark Clan.
