Shard Academy: the last place I expected to be. And wanted to be. I wanted to go to Fragment Academy but that dream was crushed. And it shouldn't be happened to me, or anybody. But it happened. There was no hope for me. Nothing would change this fate. It's too late…
"Uh, hi! I'm Cadence Briar. What's your name?"
Right off the bat, I knew my roommate was going to be annoying. How? Her whole demeanor and looks shouted, "Hey there! I'm going to bug you the entire time you're here!" And I thought I was supposed to like my roommate.
As she unpacked her bag, I watched her. Practically her entire wardrobe and everything she owned was blue, blue, and BLUE.

The boy looked scared but I went in without a hint of fear.
It wasn't like the headmaster was a villain or something. What a scaredy cat. The second we stepped into the office, we were greeted by an array of photos and plaques spend out on the walls and a large desk. At the desk sat the headmaster himself: August VonGericht. He was slightly terrifying in this atmosphere.
"Yes, is there something you two needed?" he asked.
The boy shook his head quickly and hid behind me.
"I don’t know why he's here but I'm here to file a complaint about my roommate. And other students."
"Is that so, Miss Ogura? And why are you here, Mister Kalb? It's obvious that you need something."
"Uh, w-well I just need a uniform, sir!"
"I see, go check with Miss Silver or your roommate. Now then, what exactly is your complain, Miss Ogura?" the headmaster asked, looking at me.
"I’m unhappy with my roommate. She’s too perky, she’s too blue, she’s too-! "
"I can assure you that your roommate was chosen to be with you for a good reason, I think you may just need some more time with her. Give it at least a month. If she still bothers you then we might as well try and switch both of you. Will that be
