Immigration
Immigration in America is an important topic when deciding whether or not to export those who are illegal and or to allow those with degrees to come and work. America is a country established and utilize by immigrants long ago, this means everyone in the country is an immigrant to it unless Native American. Exporting every illegal in America will allow more space and resources to receiving those with degrees and skills for work in this country. The process will be extremely difficult and will be a long process, could take years but, in the end it’ll open jobs to Americans that desperately needs them. In the section on Immigrants in American Society they quoted George Washington saying “The bosom of America is open to receive not only the Opulent and respectable Stranger, but the oppressed and persecuted of all Nations and Religions; whom we shall welcome to a participation of all our rights and privileges.” Reading realizing, America is declining people of entry into this country, when one of the founding fathers of the United States of America said we should welcome everyone in this nation, not saying anything about giving green cards to just certain individuals. Allowing immigrants into the country without green cards would be great for industries gathering engineers or Medical facilities importing medical skilled immigrants. Quoting from the “Public Opinion” section of the article; says many Americans worry that immigration is increasing the size and changing the characteristics of the population, and they fact that immigration adds to U.S. population growth and, therefore, to environmental problems related to population growth. In another article, “The Evolution of Border Controls as a Mechanism to Prevent Illegal Immigration”, by Rey Koslowski. In the section “Chasing a Moving Target”, talks about how border security organizations face challenges stopping illegals from getting through to America. If the security stops them in one section then another will be open. The article say “Frontline border-control officers often compare their task to squeezing a balloon: if you squeeze one end, it expands at the other. Clamping down at one part of the border drives illegal migrants to attempt to cross elsewhere.” The only solution to this will be to build a border wall between Mexico and America, and this will take greats amount of money in which America doesn't have to waste because the number of people who crosses declines every
