Shaolin Monk Tenekwa

A hooker desperate to save her young son from a brutal gangster, is trained in martial arts by a Shaolin Monk.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS
The inner city of Detroit is run by a pimp-gangster, K2. K2 runs a prostitution and drug organization. Tenekwa (30’s), the single mother of Darwin (3), works for K2. Tenekwa and K2 share a past together. Tenekwa wants to be the superhero in her child’s life.
When Tenekwa asserts her independence, and creates a phone application that the other hookers can use and cut out the pimp, K2 is incensed. K2’s thugs, Spyder, Recluse, and B-Boy grab Tenekwa as K2 decides to take Darwin. Tenekwa tries to escape, but can’t. She beaten by Spyder and overpowered, then dumped into the street.

Tenekwa is ready to find her son and fight for him. In a name giving ceremony, Tenekwa is given the name Shi Bang Wu. She wears an Orange Monk outfit and transforms into her own sex-kitten Superhero.
Tenekwa first confronts Spyder. She reads his sexual fantasy. With her new skills, she overpowers him and cuffs him to her apartment heater for the police to find.
Tenekwa searches for her son and runs into K2’s gangsters. Again, using her new martial arts fighting skills, she overpowers them, but she still needs to rescue her son. She eventually returns to the monk’s paradise where she’s given guidance, but then is told to leave and not return.
Tenekwa locate K2’s mansion. She breaks in and searches for her son. She’s eventually caught by K2 and tied up. Darwin hears the chanting of the monks, and as if inspired and empowered, he crawls his way out of his enclosure and finds his mother and helps her escape.
They run into Hym, who teams up with Tenekwa. Hym takes Darwin and hides when Tenekwa confronts K2. K2 believes he’s the father of Darwin, but when Darwin runs out of his hiding place, Hym appears and claims to be Darwin’s dad. They struggle and K2 snaps Hym’s neck. Tenekwa in a rage goes after K2. However, Tarantula, a huge gangster appears. When he goes after Tenekwa, K2 ties to protect her but Tarantula crushes K2 to

Together, Tenekwa and the hookers battle Tarantula. Tenekwa remembers her teachings from the monks and she fights back. They are all strong women. Images of strong, powerful women bombard Tarantula’s mind. Tenekwa takes her whips and wraps them around Tarantula’s ankles as he trips and falls off the roof to his death.
Tenekwa and her son are reunited. She’s his real superhero. However, she knows she has more work to do. She places her son in the safe care of the Monks. Tenekwa researches the sex trade and shuts her eyes.
The monks take Hym’s body back to the Monk Palace and chant. Suddenly his finger moves at the same time Tenekwa’s eyes pop
