The two continued to walk back and forth discussing business at hand until it was time to go inside. They always lagged around to be last, so that they could see everything in front of them. But, for some reason, the guards signaled for the other twenty inmates that were also out, to all face the fence, before calling out to Shanky Boy. “I don't know what the fuck that means. I said, do you understand me?” the captain barked!
“Yes, sir. I understand,” Shanky Boy replied.
In the back of his mind though, he wasn’t thinking about what the captain was saying. The only thing on Shanky Boy’s mind was finding a way to get some money. That was his job, and their job was to catch him.
“Ok. Good escort him to his cell and let him pack up his belonging.” the captain informed the guards. He watched as they went inside to follow his orders then directed his attention to the paper he had in hand. After reading it, he signaled for the guard.
“Hailstone!” the guards shouted out. Greg answered and was instructed to stand in front of the warden and the captain. He received the same exact sermon that Shanky Boy received and gave the same response in return. An hour later they were both standing on the tier in front of their cell in 2-Block. The worst block in Warrior Island
