One time i was hanging out with my friend, we were just walking in the park. He see’s his friends and he wanted to go say hi to them. Once we got to them, they automatically gave me this face like if i didn’t belong in this world or something. When we left i could hear them whisper something, to this day i still can’t tell what they said but i feel like it was towards me. Now i believe that black people always stereotype againsts every Race including whites just because of the stories they have always been hearing.
Being stereotype made me feel very strange and sort of upset because you just can’t stereotype someone just because you hear a lot of myths about a specific race. I believe that if they got to know me, they would see that not all mexicans hate black people or even eat tacos everyday. Therefore, i agree because most of us just stereotype because of the stuff we have been hearing about Asians can’t drive, Mexicans eat Tacos everyday, Asians eat rice with everything. That’s not the case, we shouldn’t stereotype. In conclusion, As long as there are different races and cultures, stereotypes will never go away. This is because humans fear what they do not understand and for this, we must categorise behaviour in order to better understand the world around
