Shane Dawson Research Paper

Shane Dawson has been on Youtube for 10 years; he started about making skits and other videos in high school; this helped his Youtube channel grow his career; this lead to his other projects such as his movies, multiple released songs, and two New York Times best selling books.
Shane Dawson started making Youtube videos back in July of 2008. Since then he has accumulated over 12 million subscribers in a little over 10 years on the platform. His videos started out at short, 5 minute skits, and music videos. Shane's music career is something he will soon live to regret, but for not you can still watch all of his music videos on his Youtube channel. This started his longer film fase on Youtube. He has made big films, and has made many more that are on his Youtube channel. Two of his films are called “Not cool.” and ‘Internet Famous”. They are not very good films, but at the time they made Shane happy. Or so the internet thought he was happy. Shane is no stranger to rumours on the internet. There was a lot of rumours throughout his entire career about him being gay, and that caused him to fall into depression. He struggled with a lot of mental illnesses throughout his life. He was fat as a child, teen, and young adult. He eventually stopped music, short films, and he started writing.
Today Shane Dawson is still making Youtube videos; however, he is no longer doing music or movies. Since being on Youtube for over 10 years he has accumulated over 12 million subscribers.
