Have you ever gone through your day-to-day routine, and wondered if other countries around the world are able to utilize some of the basic necessities that we take advantage of? As I was getting ready for my day today I found myself thinking about shampoo. Does the rest of the world think of shampoo, as a basic hygiene tool, that everyone has access to? In my paper, I will take a closer look at different areas of the world, and different coulters to see how and if they use this product, so many of us take advantage of.

The biggest global consequence of shampoo production is pollution. Aside from the pollution that comes with production like air pollution, solid waste, is the pollution that takes place after the product is used. Personally, I was my shampoo out of my hair when it has done its job. All drains lead somewhere, right? After shampoo, chemicals, waste, and other soaps are flushed down the drain they end up in back into our environment somewhere. According to Dr. Mercola the average number of showers per person per week in Colombia, and Brazil is ten to twelve showers per week, seven in the U.S, Spain, and France, and the U.K and China tone it down to around five showers a week. Whether by personal choice, or economic standing there are people in the world that do not shampoo their hair. While it is not fair to that Africa as a whole does not use shampoo, it is a fact that a large portion of the country is impoverished, and it is not a part of their routine. As a result of living in an impoverished country, the priority of shampoo is very low, therefore production of cosmetics in these countries is high life it is in first-world
