Shakespeare's Macbeth-Good Vs. Evil

Deciding between Good vs. Evil is one of the hardest things for a man to decide especially when becoming something as great as being king becomes involved. The author William Shakespeare wrote the drama Macbeth in the 1600’s in Scotland. In the story, the main character Macbeth wanted to be king, but he knew the only way for him to become king is to kill Duncan. Theme of the story is Good vs. Evil and this will be supported by Macbeth vs. himself, Macbeth vs. Banquo, and Macbeth vs. Mac duff. To begin with Macbeth was in conflict with himself Act I scn vii ln 2-5 if Th’ assassination could trammel up the consequence, and catch, with his surcease, success; that but this blow Might be the be-all and the end-all-here. Macbeth knew Banquo would eventually tell about the witch’s prophecies and Macbeth couldn’t have that due to the fact that he was going to be king and if this got out the royal men would begin to put two and two together and he would be the main suspect in the murder of Duncan. For the final example Mac duff want revenge on Macbeth for killing his family act IV scn iii ln214-215 Let’s make us medicine of our great revenge to cure this deadly grief. Mac duff is coming up with a plan to get Macbeth back for killing his family. This evidence clearly demonstrates the theme good vs. evil in the story. After reading the story I realized this play reflects into real life situations in where people can be faced with very difficult decisions that could send them down a negative path just like
