For this particular play I think the director had to find the perfect actors that could change their voice, find actors that were great with using humor, and possibly finding the right costumes. In my opinion Pia Desideria was the best cast in the show. I don’t think anybody was miscast but I do believe Pia was more envovled because she was in every act. The hardest character to cast would have to be Pia, she’s just so talented! Pia is the type of actress that is passionate and is in fact enthusiastic. Furthermore the easiest character to cast would have to be Jack Render; the duties of this actor were not to extreme. Jack was the person who created the noises, handed out the costumes, and was in charge to hold signs to give the audience messages. However I’m sure jack had to practice the noises and know when he had to hand out the costumes to the characters. In conclusion I believe the director did a terrific job because the audience sure did leave with a smile on their …show more content…
One act that I clearly remember was when the actors were acting out the Romeo & Juliet play. Right after they finished acting out that play they decided to act it out backwards to see how fast they could do it but after doing it they did once again to beat the time. That was interesting and part of it was I think they wanted to give the audience a laugh. Some specific acting challenges that I saw were singing, whistling, and a slap. Some specialized training that an actor would need for this play would be speaking in a dialect, sword fighting, and lifting. As I mentioned, Jack Render didn’t have much in the play but he did contribute with some lifting. In the Romeo & Juliet act Jack had to carry Juliet on his back as if he was the balcony. The best cast at speaking in a dialect was Pia, the vocabulary, accent, and grammar made her dialect the best. If I could be the cast in this show I would want to play Katie Judge. Katie was almost as good as Pia but wasn’t the center of attention. The reason why I would want to play her parts would be because I wouldn’t have that big of a pressure of being the main character such as Pia, I’m not saying that that the rest of the of cast didn’t have responsibilities but I do believe Pia had the most. I like to be the center of attention but I would much rather have less on the play and not feel like I have a ton of weight on my shoulders. Overall the cast did a spectacular job with there
