Shaggy-Personal Narrative

Nothing was ever going to be the same, after the moment I first saw him. I was sitting on a bench in an indoor baseball batting cage when all of a sudden I hear Macey Rae introduce me to her son.
“Kaylie, I want you to meet me son. This is Shaggy.” Macey turns around and brings Shaggy closer. He picked up his head from the ground, and underneath his red hoodie I saw his brown eyes. He gave me a smile I would never forget.

Starting freshman year, everything has changed. I did not know we would have classes together so when I saw him, I started blushing. Period One was Italian, that is where I saw Shaggy.
“Hey what’s up Rae,” Shaggy’s friend Will said. “Ready for basketball season?” Shaggy nodded not looking up from his desk.

I looked over at the curly haired boy I met at the batting cages and started smiling. He is in my class, I get to see him once a day. Well, that is what I thought until Period Six came around-Social

My best friends still thought he liked me, he never stopped looking at me. Yeah he has Rebecca, but he has me too. I saw him look at me during baseball games. Macey had a small conversation with me before I walked back over to my mom. Summer felt short, but the days were long when I was with him. He has something about him that makes time stop. Maybe it is the way he looks at me, or the way he wears his hoodies. Everytime I see him, I just lose my place. He makes me feel some type of way. I will forever cherish those baseball games. Good thing about brothers, they get you guys. Shaggy and I went to Hershey Park together for our brothers baseball tournament. Our families ate dinner together, went to waterparks, and Shaggy and I just stared at each other. All summer

Seventh grade, my second year now at what I thought to be the worst school in the world. On back to school night I met a man who would change my perspective on life completely, that man being Brandon Lilly. Henry Adams once said “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” At a mere five-foot four he appeared to be a kid minus the burly lumberjack beard that he possessed. I remember being skeptical at first because I had never had a male teacher before.…
