Shadow Story
Prologue
In the dark alleyway, two teenagers walked side by side away from the busy street and into a dark alleyway. Their features were shadowed by the light behind them. On the opposite end of the alley, another teenager barely a few years older approached them. This older teen had light brown hair and had a dark cap that was pulled down low to cover his eyes. Both of his hands were tucked deep in the pockets of his uniform’s jacket. Around his neck hung a leather cord with a bronze charm in the shape of a hawk that gleamed dully. They all stopped. They stood so that their backs faced opposite walls. The light now shone on the younger teens revealing a girl with semi-long black hair and a boy with slightly long,

He walked off and disappeared into the busy street on the opposite side of the alleyway. The eyes of the girl followed the older boy until he disappeared. The younger boy’s attention was fixated on the package in his hands. He flipped it over to find a card taped shut on it. The boy tapped the girl’s shoulder and pointed at the card. The girl picked it up and opened it. Inside was a handwritten note:

From, Akumu
The girl and boy didn’t say anything for a while. The girl suddenly noticed a mysterious person standing the end of the ally and shook the boy out of his stupor. Without saying anything else, the boy tucked the package and card into the leather satchel he wore. Both of them started to run away from the

Learn as much as you can about the headmaster. Be careful and watch out for the “Hunters”.
The boy looked at the girl. Both of them sighed. The girl placed the paper back into its protector as the message vanished. Suddenly, the sound of soft footsteps echoed through the tunnels they had come from. The boy and the girl froze. The echoed footsteps sounded closer and closer. The girl quickly stuffed the folder into her backpack, zipped it shut and slung it on her back. The boy was already climbing the ladder and the girl quickly followed. The girl was halfway up the ladder and the boy was at the top trying to climb through the window when the people from the tunnel ran in.
The newcomers were a group of five or so men, all who had some sort of mask covering the lower part of their face. They were all dressed in a fashion that revealed nothing of who they were or what they did. One of them who had a heavy gold bracelet pointed up at the girl climbing up the ladder. Evidently, he was the leader because the others started to swarm up the ladder like bees in their

For example, for some cultures one is considered as a social person after birth, however, for many other cultures this is not fully achieved unless one goes through certain ritual practices. Therefore, initiation rituals are important since they are related to all cultures and are a fundamental part of the process of transitioning from one stage of life to another.…
