hile assigned as a 31B Course Manager / Senior Instructor in 1st BN 223rd Regiment, SFC Bell exemplified professionalism. Starting September 2012, SFC Bell was responsible for overseeing up to 10 instructors and 50 students during each course and trained over 200 Soldiers during the period he was assigned to 1st BN. He took on the challenging position of course manager while at the same time continued participating as a primary certified instructor for the course. SFC Bell was essential to the overall success of his battalion. Without prior knowledge of the job description of 31B MOS-T course manager, he educated himself on all his duties and performed them at a very high level. SFC Bell has had a long and distinguished career as an MP which began as a recruit at Fort McClellan, Alabama in 1994 and ended up at the 223rd Regiment (RTI) at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA. During his many years as an MP, SFC Bell has worked as an Military Working Dog Handler at the Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, and he led a platoon of soldiers at the 330th MP Co. in Ontario, CA.SFC Bell has distinguished himself with every position he has held. While assigned as an MP to Ft. Benning, Georgia, SFC Bell was chosen to attend the Air Assault School at Ft. Campbell in Kentucky where he earned his Air Assault Badge. Additionally, while serving as a member of a Police Transition Team in Afghanistan in 2010, he earned the Army Driver and Mechanic Badge.
