The endless battle between living a healthy lifestyle and a not so healthy lifestyle continues on a daily basis for most American’s as we know it. Day after day we continue to tell ourselves we are ok health wise and we eat right or we’ll start tomorrow but the realization is that we never do. Let’s face it , it is cheaper to be overweight then it is to be healthy. The whole process starts with the mind and the body does what the mind tells it to. So how do we start? We start with focus and concentration in other words our mindset. The power to control these two opens up a whole another degree of life changing events in which will change your outlook on how you live, eat and look. Now a down side to losing weight is you can actually lose weight to fast causing you to lose muscle which will result is a smaller less cut figure so you want to maintain and keep watch of how much , how fast you lose weight. A study from the Dietary Guidelines of American states that a person needs an average of 60 minutes of workout time in coupled with a sufficient calorie intake to maintain a proper diet. Now once you’ve achieved the task of managing your food intake now comes the next step ( Gym) the one thing people dread is the actual physical aspect of lifting weights and pushing your body to its limits. As a beginner one needs to become familiar with the gym itself , schedule an appointment with your local gym trainers or staff member to walk you though the machines so that you learn proper lifting techniques to avoid injury, this is also a mistake made by so many people because they feel embarrassed to ask , that should never be the …show more content…
Once you’ve began to understand the fundamentals of each machine and there abilities its down hill from there the rest is up to you, now with the right mindset and knowledge of eating properly and access to your local gym your almost home . Next stop is vitamins and supplements and yes there is a difference between the two. Now days your basic diet is based on a 2,000 calorie a day plan which is ok but depends on how big or small you want to become. Proper intake of vitamins help the body obtain nutrition in small quantities because they cannot be produced by the body where as a supplement is something you take to help growth and recovery in the body after or during and intense workout.
