There needs to be more steps in place to protect men. I suggest creating a section of the HR department that focuses on complaints within the workplace, including sexual harassment claims. This section keeps the complaints completely anonymous. First, they approach the accused and discuss the action that is being accused. Then, if the accused denies doing what has been put into question, the HR team conducts an investigation within the workplace. To keep the accused out of the workplace and away from the victim I would give the accused a special project during the time of the investigation. That way, fellow employees do not know what is happening and the investigation will not impact the accused reputation. Once the investigation is complete then the consequences are conducted. If the accused is found guilty, they should be asked to step down or are terminated. But, if they are innocent the victim should be questioned. A lot of them said that men are awful and they believed that in most cases the man was in the wrong. This was the most disturbing discovery I made through my entire research. This is the whole reason that even when a man is wrongfully accused, they still get treated poorly after the accusations. There needs to be a stop to gender bias in sexual harassment allegations. Any man can be wrongfully accused of sexual harassment, for a number of reasons. Maybe they refused to date the girl so she was mad and decided to get revenge. Or, the man was in a higher position in the workplace that the woman wanted. Men need to start supporting other men and stop believing that they are all at fault. There needs to be a recovery program put in place for men who are wrongfully accused, that way their lives are not destroyed through sexual harassment
