However, while reading the essay “Sexual Harassment,” I found interesting and quite shocking fact that “35 to 50 percent of women are sexually harassed at some point in their careers” (Bravo and Meric 201). This fact explicitly elaborate that about half percent of women are being harassed sexually throughout their profession. This fact proved that women are the typical victim of sexual harassment because most of the women are not much strong enough to defense themselves. As per Bravo and Meric, “harassers go after someone they perceive as vulnerable” (Bravo and Meric 202). This word “vulnerable” is apply upon women because most of the women are powerless and weak; they even don’t complain anything. So, harasser took advantage of their weakness and harass them. So, I always believe that welfare is the best public assistance program from which every person can be benefited. As per my point of view, welfare actually is the system designed for the favor of low income families or peoples who are in need of basic necessities.
