Employees must agree to refraining from befriending colleagues on any platforms of social media including the following: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Vine, or YouTube. By establishing a fine line between work and personal life decreases the chances of employees being unprofessional outside of a work environment. One of the step to our first solution will be to have a written policy regarding sexual harassment. This policy must contain the definition of sexual harassment. “ It is unlawful to harass a person( an applicant or employee) because of that person’s sex. Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of sexual nature” (Sexual Harassment). Sexual harassment is generally misconstrued as an issue based strictly off of sexual acts, although it goes far beyond that. The second piece of information this policy must contain is that under no circumstances will sexual harassment be tolerated. This piece of information needs to be stated very clearly and all employers must consciously understand. Any claims proven to be true will lead to immediate termination of the employee or employer who inflicted the issue.
