The video studies the sexual disorders through three individuals: the couple (Jan and Mel,) Dave, and Gene. Each individual who participates in this research has one type of disorder or another which causes them unable to control their aggressive sexuality or lack of sexual desire. Surprisingly, sex is not controlled by genital but the human brain. Five main types of sexual disorders are as follow: sexual deviation, gender dysphoria, sexual dysfunction, arousal disorders, and desire disorders. Dr. Robert Carson at Duke University selectively studies a famous player who exposed himself to preadolescent girls due to his sexual deviations which meant to show signs of dominant and powerful. Brad, who suffers gender dysphoria, seeks help at Dr. Coleman's clinic and talks to him about how confuse he was as a child. He was always think of himself as a boy while others constantly ask him to act more like a girl. After coming to this clinic, Brad has been helped to resolve the problem on how he should see himself and feel the real person he want to be. Brad has decided to change from female to male by taking male hormone and has just become a person he think he is. Sexual dysfunction is a disorder when a person loses the desire to have sex, loses the ability to arouse, and lacks or unable to control orgasm. Those factors are done based on physical components such as nervous system, circulatory system, and endocrine system. The treatment for sexual dysfunction is to help young men to control the premature ejaculation and to guide them on how to achieve orgasm. Arousal disorders happen when people want to make love but cannot such as a man who is unable to have an erection or a woman who is physically unresponsive to sexual stimulation. This problem is actually based on emotions such as anxiety, anger, substance abuse, and stress (e.g. the death of a loved one.) There are treatments called sex therapies that use to increase intimacy without leaving a feeling of guilt or betrayal, to learn new techniques to compensate for ages or medications, and to change attitudes between two consenting adults in their relationships. Desire disorders happen when people completely do not want to involve in sex simply because they do not have any desires. Jan and Mel have been helped by Dr. Renshaw in order to improve their sexual relationships. The treatment for desire disorders is to be patient to deal with anger in which two people need to make time for each other and learn to caress each other.     I actually watched these videos with my boyfriend and I think he took them harder than I did.
