Many of those in prison has committed a serious crime and has victimized others, ironically some of those offenders become victims themselves behind bars. Sexual assault is very common among the prison population which means there are a number of prisoners who become victims. According to the text, sexual activities in prison involve force and fear or emotional-and incentive-driven pressure (Wallace & Roberson, 2015, p. 211). Sexual assault can take a toll on any victim, as well as being confined in prison and having to deal with the issue the best way possible and with the resources given. I think prisoners should be offered special protections provided to them for two main reasons. One reason is their life may be put in more danger than before
