We can see this by the way that the group speaking to each other, when Barbara pointed out that Sarah hasn’t spoken yet, Kathrine reminded her that they all agreed to respect when they feel comfortable to do so. Then Suzanne attempts to comfort Sarah by letting her know that it took her some time to feel comfortable enough to share her story. The group assured Sarah that feeling uncomfortable at first is okay.
The whole purpose of group intervention is to ultimately help each other with coping and adapting with any of the traumatic experience that has set one back in life.
