BACKGROUND
Organizational Background
Pathfinder International (PI) is a leading international non-profit organization engaged in the area of sexual and reproductive health. PI with its mission ‘to ensure that people everywhere have the right and opportunity to live a healthy sexual and reproductive life’ believes that the reproductive health care is not only a part of basic human right, but also an essential way for creating better opportunities for women, which further leads to welfare improvement at not only family level, but also community and national level.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experiences
• At least seven to ten years of demonstrated work experiences in the proven field, particularly consulting participatory monitoring and evaluation in development project.
• Working experience in the Southeast Asian context, especially in Laos will be an advantage.
• Experience in conducting or evaluating sexual reproductive health or related health project in developing countries highly desirable.
Skills
• Strong management skill and ability to manage independently setting priority tasks to achieve agreed objectives and deliver a high level of outputs within proposed timeframe.
• Excellent analytical skill and documented experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural and gender sensitivity to the local communities.
• Understanding of Lao language or ability to work effectively with local associates and Pathfinder International project’s staffs would be highly desirable.
