The article I chose what titled, Sexual abuse history among adult sex offenders and non-sex offenders, it was pages 179-192 of a book called, “Child Abuse and Neglect” written by three authors: Ashely F. Jespersen, Martin L. Lalumiere, and Michael C. Seto. This book was published back in March of 2009. I chose to evaluate this article because I am a plan on majoring in criminology and very interested in why people do certain that they do and what causes deviant behavior. The methods the researchers chose to use to conduct these studies were to compare the rates of sexual abuse and other types of abuse reported.
