A dangerous game
Recently RCMP Constable Sarah Pennoyer spoke to students from grades 9-12 about the dangers of 'sexting'. 20% of teens polled have sent 'sext' messages or photos. It's a major issue that can have devastating consequences now, and into the future. Nothing is private, and nothing is 'deleted' from the internet —not ever.
Sexting is not the only worry however. There other serious and even deadly trends floating around on social websites.
Some challenges are outright funny like the ALS Ice Bucket challenge a couple of summers ago or more recently the mannequin challenge.
